Architect, Full Professor of Interior Architecture and History of Design. He collaborated with Figini and Pollini, Vittorio Gregotti and Enzo Mari, with whom he developed an interest in the theory and history of design in the field of architecture and industrial design, in the field of architecture and industrial design.

Elisabetta Di Stefano

Universiy of Palermo

Associate Professor of Aesthetics. She is member of various aesthetics scientific societies and serves in the advisory board of various scientific journals. Her research focuses on the theory of the arts in the Renaissance; the ornament theory; the aesthetics of everyday life with special reference to architecture and design.

Gioia Laura Iannilli

University of Bologna

Assistant and Adjunct Professor of Aesthetics. She serves in the executive committee of the Italian Society of Aesthetics and the Experience Research Society, and in the editorial boards of several scientific journals and book series. Her areas of research are Experience Design, Everyday, and Pragmatist Aesthetics.

Giovanni Matteucci

University of Bologna

Full Professor of Contemporary Aesthetics. He is the president of the Italian Society of Aesthetics and editor in chief of “Studi di Estetica – Italian Journal of Aesthetics”. His research concerns the structures of aisthesis with reference to sense and form and the problems of the aestheticization.

Rita Messori

University of Parma

Associate Professor of Aesthetics. Her interests concern the link between aesthetics and the poetic-rhetoric tradition, and landscape aesthetics. She has widely published in Italian and French.

 

Raffaella Trocchianesi

Politecnico di Milano

Architect and Associate Professor, she deals with Design for Cultural Heritage in terms of museography and exhibition design, new models and narratives of cultural experiences, the relationship among design, humanities and arts. She is Director of the Master IDEA-Exhibition Design.

Francesca Zanella

Associate Professor of History of Contemporary Art. Member of the Scientific Committee of CSAC, Study Centre and Communication Archive, University of Parma, which she directed from 2015 to 2020. Since 2012 she has been a Member of the Scientific Committee of MoRE Museum of unrealized projects.

FHNW Academy of Art and Design in Basel, Studio Uwe Brückner​

He is founding partner and creative director of ATELIER BRÜCKNER with offices in Stuttgart and Seoul. He studied architecture at the Polytechnic of Munich and set design under the guidance of Jürgen Rose at the State Academy of Art and Design in Stuttgart.

Jane Forsey

University of Winnipeg

She is Professor of Philosophy at the University of Winnipeg, Canada.  She is the author of The Aesthetics of Design, co-editor of On Taste and On the Ugly: Aesthetic Exchanges, as well as author of numerous articles in philosophical aesthetics.  She is currently working on a new monograph about the nature of aesthetic experience.

Marc Hassenzahl

University of Siegen

Professor for “Ubiquitous Design / Experience and Interaction”. He combines his training in psychology with a love for interaction. Marc is author of “Experience Design. Technology for all the right reasons” (MorganClaypool) and many peer-reviewed papers at the seams of psychology, design research and interaction/industrial design.

Andrea Mecacci

University of Florence

Associate Professor of Aesthetics at the Università degli Studi di Firenze. His current research focuses on the aestheticization of contemporary world. His studies concentrate on some operative and conceptual categories specific to this process: pop, postmodernism, kitsch.

Jeffrey Schnapp

Harvard University

Founder/faculty director of metaLAB (at) Harvard and faculty co-director of the Berkman Klein Center for Internet and Society. He holds the Carl A. Pescosolido Chair in Romance Languages, Literatures and Comparative Literature in the Faculty of Arts and Sciences and is on the teaching faculty in the Department of Architecture at Harvard.

Jocelyn Spence

University of Nottingham

She studies  interpersonal mixed-reality experiences that create meaningful and transformational moments. Since January 2016 she has worked as a Research Fellow in Human-Computer Interaction at the Mixed Reality Lab at the University of Nottingham. Her research develops the principles of her book, Performative Experience Design.

Mirko Zardini

Ex director of the Canadian Centre for Architecture (CCA), Montreal​

He is an architect, author, and curator. His research engages with contemporary architecture, urbanism, and landscape by questioning and re-examining the assumptions on which architects operate today. From 2005 to 2019 he has been the Director of the Canadian Centre for Architecture (CCA) in Montreal.
